Financial Aid

Finding the right school is an investment in your child’s future.

North Shore Montessori School annually grants tuition assistance for academic programming to families who desire a Montessori education for their children at a rate of up to 50%. Funds for the Financial Aid program come from individual gifts to the school and other fundraising events, and are therefore limited. As a result, financial aid is primarily in place for families who have been enrolled in our school for at least one year, and is mainly for families whose circumstances have suddenly changed.

Those eligible to apply must first be accepted into the Montessori program. Financial aid only applies to academic programming, and does not apply to any care programs. Sibling discounts are not applied in addition to Financial Aid.

  1. Gather your most recent tax return documents. The information will be necessary to complete the Financial Aid application.

  2. Submit your Financial Aid application as early as possible. We opened our applications for the following school year on Tuesday, January 21st, and the last day to submit Financial Aid applications are Friday, April 25th, 2025. Our tuition management system, FACTS, determines aid eligibility at a rate of up to 50% percent, and the NSMS Board of Directors makes a final decision of financial aid granting in May. Please note, FACTS charges a nonrefundable $40 fee to apply for financial aid.

  3.  Financial aid applications must be submitted annually.
